album reviews were good.
assignment for March 29:
research the South by Southwest Festival, which just took place. Review three (3!) different bands that performed there. Reviews must be 250-300 words long.
then write a 500 word essay about the importance of SXSW and its place in the music industry.
there is an article about last year's SXSW Festival in the "Best Music Writing 2009" book. It may or may not help.
